Doremi and her friends are pupils of the Misora Elementary School during the series. The school contains class levels from 1 to 6.
Misore Elementary School doesn't have a school uniform requirement, however the backpacks of the girls are all red and the backpacks of the boys are blue. They aren't allowed to wear jewelry at school. The students should not work after school, even though there are exceptions.

- The school is on a hill and near a beach
- Onpu and Momoko have different backpacks then the others. Onpu's one is lilac and Momoko's backpack is yellow. It seems like the rules aren't that strict
- Doremi, Hazuki, Aiko, Onpu and Momoko are allowed to work after school
- In the 5th grade, the classes are redistributed.
