Motto! Ojamajo Doremi: "Together with Mama" Tell me ♪ Momo-chan Snack Cooking is an original video animation distributed by Kōdansha during Motto! Ojamajo Doremi's run. It is the 2nd Ojamajo Doremi OVA to have been distributed by Kōdansha overall, being the successor to Ojamajo Doremi Sharp: "Together with Hana-chan" and the predecessor to Ojamajo Doremi Dokkān!: From Sharp to Dokkan! Hana-chan is Pumped Up.

The OVA was distributed in Summer 2001 to those who applied during a giveaway event hosted in two of Kōdansha's magazines, Tanoshī Yōchien and Otomodachi, both having the demographic of young children. The video was produced with the intention of promoting Bandai's Ojamajo Doremi toyline on sale at the time.[1]

The OVA is composed of both animated and live action segments. The live-action segments teach the viewer how to make three different desserts; "Fluffy Hot Cake", "Standing Fruit Decoration Cake" and "Rabbit's Pururu Orange Jelly". These segments feature two live actors, portrayed as mother and daughter, who demonstrate making the desserts on set while narrated by Doremi, Momoko and Pop.[1]

Plot[]

At the time of returning home from school, Pop and Kimitaka came to a great conclusion, to challenge each other to sweet-making at the Maho-dō. However, Pop has never made sweets before and is now in a pinch.[1]

    • The outfit has T-shirt sleeves instead of puff sleeves.
    • The lack of intercom and boots.
    • When viewed from the side, Pop's regular attire can be seen, suggesting that the outfit is an apron.
  • When added up, the OVA consists of only about 3 minutes of animation.[1]
  • The characters in the animated segments maintain their voice portrayals from the anime series.[1]
  • Despite being shown on the VHS cover, Hazuki, Aiko and Onpu don't appear in the OVA.
  • The opening of the OVA also features both live action and animated segments, and it seems to imitate Motto's opening, since the live actors are shown with flashes of light.
