Ojamajo Carnival!! (おジャ魔女カーニバル!!) is the opening theme of Ojamajo Doremi. The show’s opening theme was written by lyricist Shoko Omori, and performed by MAHO-Dou (MAHO堂), a group consisting of the main characters’ voice actresses: Chiemi Chiba, Tomoko Akiya, and Yuki Matsuoka. The song was released as a single under the now-defunct music label Bandai Music Entertainment on March 5th, 1999.

Looking for Magical Doremi Version[]
This version is the opening theme for Looking for Magical Doremi, the movie made to celebrate the franchise's 20th anniversary. It is slower and softer than the original one, in order to give a more nostalgic feeling. The song was sung by MAHO-Dou, with the chorus sung by Mayumi Gojo.
+Kids Version[]
This version plays over the final scene of Looking for Magical Doremi. The music is much more animated, like in the original version. MAHO-Dou were the singers for this version too, while some kids sang the chorus.
Reception[]
Ojamajo Carnival!! won the Theme Song Award during the Animation Kobe Awards in 1999, with 288 votes out of 8,545.[1]
During the Heisei Anisong Grand Prix in 2019, an award show deciding on the best anime theme songs from the last 30 years, Ojamajo Carnival!! was one of the winners for the Character Song Award.[2]
