Doremi finds herself in a dark room. She happens to see a bunch of stained glass windows, then finds the girls dressed as nuns. They tell her that she can choose between a handsome boy or a great big steak, and to nobody's surprise, Doremi quickly chooses the steak.
Doremi considers giving up everything to be with a ranchers son and live on a farm; but is this boy as perfect as he seems to be?
While the girls are sitting with Hana-chan, Majorika informs them that she plans to take them on a trip to Tohoku while it is Golden Week. She admits that she would feel bad for making them do work instead of enjoying the holiday, but they question why she chose that place. Onpu goes on to mention that she has a concert May 4th and 5th at the ranch located at Iwate Prefecture; which leads them to determine that Majorika is planning to cash in from Onpu's concerts, along with the fact a hot spring is nearby. However they still think it would be nice, but since they will be gone longer then a day they all need to get permission from their parents first.
So they all take turns with their magic, pretending to be the parental figures of Hana-chan by explaining that because the girls do so much work, they wish to reward them. They all get permission, although Pop is disappointed that she cannot go with them; due to the concert her class has busily been working on. So when everything is settled they finish preparing and leave.
Come evening the girls arrive to the concert location and begin to set up the Flower Stand to try to attract some business while there. Doremi mentions that it is kind of strange that the performance has not began yet, and just then Lala calls them to get into the van. There Onpu reveals that the rest of her band and their equipment got stuck in traffic, and that they wont make it to the concert in time. She is told that she would be better off canceling the performance, but Onpu doesn't want to let down so many people; so she asks the girls if they would help her out. She uses her magic to summon instruments for them to use, and with that they get to the stage and perform.
After they finish, the girls do a little bit of selling before they eat with the guests and family who own the area. Onpu introduces the others to the couple, and the man leaves to locate his son; who is a fan of Onpu. As this goes on, Doremi laments how there is no more steak, along with the fact that Majorika ditched them. Until the man returns with his son, Shinzou Osawa. He asks Doremi if she would like to stay with him and claims to love her, then points out how the ranch owns one thousand cows. He claims that he plans to raise five, maybe even ten times more however; which is enough to make Doremi instantly fall for him.
When the girls show up, they are quick to accidentally think that what has been going on was a proposal, although Doremi claims to be too young for this; she is fine with dating. The others lecture her on being so careless to accept proposals that easily, but she thinks it is fine since he happens to be her type. She cannot find one bad thing about Shinzou to convince her otherwise.
When Hana-chan wakens up, Shinzou happens to hear the girls discuss her. They explain what has been going on to him and how she is the child of the person who owns the Maho-do. He then works his charm by apologizing to Hana-chan after addressing her as a boy, then he asks the girls if they would prefer to spend the night at the ranch instead of staying in the van all night; to which they quickly accept. The next morning, Hazuki wakes up to realize Doremi has gone missing. She wakes Aiko and Onpu and they happen to notice that Hana was missing too. They are quickly able to locate her on the nearby balcony and grab her before she can fall. Then they spot Doremi helping out the Osawa Family.
When they approach her, Doremi explains that as a Ranchers future wife she needs to learn how to do this sort of work. They comment on how strange this is for someone like her, considering it is only five AM, but before they can discuss it further, Shinzou asks Doremi if she wants to help milk the cows. She is eager to agree and seems to have a natural way with it. When Hana proceeds to have an accident, Hazuki runs off with her to change her diaper in another area.
Later on Onpu is busy hosting a very special rodeo event, and after it ends the ojamajo realize that something bad is going on. They confront Doremi about Shinzou then, and tell her that she would be better off not wasting her time with him; since he hit on all of them. He asked her to be his wife and brought up how they could ride horses together, which angered her greatly. Doremi is sure she is lying, but Onpu informs her that he hit on her the day before and claimed that he liked her the most, but he was sure she wasn't the farm-type so she couldn't be much help. Then he finally hit on Hazuki when she was tending to Hana earlier.
This makes Doremi very angery, and she expresses how she can't believe this had to happen to her, but once again Aiko tells her to just forget about Shinzou and guys for the time being; since it will just make her more upset. They are then approached by Shinzou's Mother, and she explains that he didn't mean any harm by acting so flirty with them. She tells them that he always goes after cool, and nice girls, and he seemed to honestly like each of them in their own way, so she asks Doremi not to be sad. Hearing this, Doremi finds it hard to still be angry, so she agrees that she will stay with him anyway.
The girls try to tell Doremi that she is just making a mistake by making promises like this when she doesn't need, but she tells them not to worry. Shinzou then comes by to ask Doremi if she would like to ride the horse with him, but when she accidentally yells it startles all of the cows; causing them to run in a panic. When the girls seen that Hana-chan is in the pathway of the many angry cows they quickly flee and transform to use their magic and save her. They give Doremi a red item, which causes the cows to chase after her instead.
She is able to lure them into the barn, but gets very dirty in the process. By the time she cleans up and they start to pack up, she apologizes and decides that she isn't meant to be with Shinzou. She would get tired of dealing with cows all of the time, and it makes her sad to know that none of them would be used to make steak; as she originally assumed.
As they begin to leave, they happen to notice that they left Hana-chan behind and force the van to stop to grab her. They find her happily hanging out with Shinzou, who is showing her how cows are milked. He then picks up Hana and asks her if she would like to be his future wife, which annoys the girls greatly.
